2023 KCSE Examination Highlights: Results Release. Various marking centers have successfully completed the assessment of the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations. According to a timetable issued by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC). Candidates who undertook the exam can anticipate the receipt of their results in the coming week.
A total of 903,260 candidates participated in this year’s KCSE exams, initiating with the execution of projects. These projects took place from January to July 2023, followed by the administration of KCSE oral, practical, and theory papers from October 23rd to November 24th, 2023.
Center Managers, Subject teachers, Directors of Education, and KNEC officials took on the responsibility of overseeing the KCSE projects. Center Managers, Supervisors, Invigilators, Quality Assurance Officers, Directors of Education, and KNEC officials actively participated in the administration of oral, practical, and theory papers.
Marking for the 2023 KCSE exam commenced on November 27th and concluded on December 11th, 2023. Taking place at designated KNEC marking centers. A noteworthy total of 234,473 examiners, including teachers serving as exam supervisors, invigilators, center managers, and exam markers, played integral roles in the administration of this year’s national exams.
Meanwhile, the results for this year’s KCPE exams have been released, and the marking process for Grade six KPSEA exams has concluded. A total of 1,415,315 candidates participated in the KCPE exams. While concurrently, 1,282,574 candidates engaged in the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA). With results expected to be available in schools in January in a certificate format.
