KCSE 2023 Application Challenges: KUCCPS Solutions
KCSE 2023 Application Challenges: KUCCPS Solutions. Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has acknowledged and tackled the issues encountered by KCSE 2023 candidates while navigating the application portal due to multiple reported errors.
High traffic emerged as the primary culprit behind the challenges students faced during their application journey. Despite these obstacles, students are encouraged to persevere in their application endeavors via the system.
“We apologize for the inconvenience. The KUCCPS portal remains open for applications. While we’re experiencing high traffic, we urge you to persist in your application efforts,” advised KUCCPS.
The application portal opened on Thursday for all 2023 KCSE students seeking admission to various post-secondary institutions.
With a total of 899,453 candidates sitting for the 2023 national examinations, the portal also caters to KCSE candidates from 2000 to 2022, contributing to the observed heavy traffic.
KUCCPS directs students needing application assistance to visit various Huduma Centres nationwide.
The listed centers include Nairobi (GPO), Eldoret, Nakuru, Kisumu, Nyeri, Garissa, Kakamega, Meru, Kitale, Thika, Mombasa, Isiolo, Narok, Laikipia, and Kitui. Additionally, assistance will be available at all Huduma Centre cyber cafes.
“In addition to the KUCCPS offices and the application support desks at the institutions. Applicants in need of assistance should visit any of the listed Huduma Centres,” the notice emphasized.
KUCCPS has announced that the application portal will remain accessible until February 22, 2024.
KUCCPS advises students to submit their applications during off-peak hours, especially from 10 pm to 7 am, to streamline the process. Furthermore, ensuring a stable network connection is crucial for a smoother experience.
