The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has successfully rolled out the last phase of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), bringing about significant salary improvements for our dedicated educators. Notably, the Chief Principal at Grade D5 now enjoys the highest monthly salary, an impressive Sh157,656.
As we navigate through the ranks, Senior Principals in job grade D4 are now receiving a competitive Sh121,890 per month. Similarly, those serving as Principals in grade D3 find their monthly earnings increased to a respectable Sh104,644. Turning our attention to Deputy Principals, those at T-Scale 12 (D2) now earn a noteworthy Sh91,041 monthly, and their counterparts at T-Scale 11 (D1) receive a monthly salary ranging between Sh77,840 and Sh85,269.
Shifting focus to Senior Masters IV under Scale 9 (C4), they are now earning a monthly salary of Sh52,308. It’s important to note that, beyond the basic salary, these educators receive additional benefits, including a House Allowance of up to Sh28,000, an Annual Leave Allowance of up to Sh6,000, and a Commuter Allowance of up to Sh8,000 per month.
